The Food Enterprise Development Programme (FEDP)

The Food Enterprise Development Programme (FEDP) is a two part programme aimed at helping new food businesses with the initial stages of “start-up”.

Participants are first assisted with technical and food legislative expertise before having access to the full range of manufacturing equipment in the Food Technology Centre to produce their product(s) for a limited timeframe. The product(s) can then be market tested and commercially sold allowing new entrepreneurs to determine business feasibility before committing to major capital investment.
