Enniskillen Campus has a wide range of facilities which are used by students and equine businesses. Our courses incorporate a strong practical dimension and the philosophy of ‘learning by doing’ is applied throughout.
The campus provides an impressive range of indoor and outdoor facilities. The enterprises of breeding, racing and equitation are supported.
If you missed watching our Virtual Open Day here’s a look around the equine facilities we have on campus to support our delivery of equine courses.
Breeding facilities at Enniskillen Campus include, 10 individual stables including foaling boxes with internet based foaling cameras, loose pens, all-weather turn outs, grass turnout, stocks and weighbridge.
Equitation facilities at Enniskillen Campus include, indoor and outdoor arenas, stabling for 22 horses, lunge pen, horse walker and hacking track, cross country schooling area and equitation simulator.
Racing facilities at Enniskillen Campus include, extended gallop and schooling lane with hurdles and fences, 14 stables, horse walker, indoor arena, all weather turnout and a racehorse simulator.
Nature Trail facilities at Enniskillen Campus include, native woodland, new hedgerows, planting native tree corridors, provision of a winter feed crop for wild birds, creation of a traditional orchard, agroforestry, pollinator margins, hay meadow, and creation of riparian buffer strips to enhance water quality.
