Volunteering Opportunity at Balmoral Show

Help is required at the Balmoral Show for Healthy Horticulture.

Student volunteers are needed each day of the show for the following

• Being ‘Mighty Spud’, in costume to go around the show.  1 student for 1 hour in the morning and afternoon
• Two students are needed for 2-3 hours in the morning and afternoon for activities 2 and 3.
  • Distribution of plug vegetables with the children (provided by Trevor Gabbie)
  • There will also be a Kids Trail in the marque with packets of seeds provided by Westland Horticulture.

There is an opportunity to meet fellow CAFRE students from Loughry at this stand who will be helping with food demonstrations.  Always a great opportunity to network.
