Your new role
We are seeking a maternity cover for 9-12 months, reporting to the Technical Manager, the Technical Assistant will be responsible for assisting the Technical Team in the continual improvement of the Department and maintaining positive relationships with suppliers and customers. Assisting in the implementation of new quality systems, reviewing and updating existing systems and overseeing product quality and product process controls.
What you’ll need to succeed
You should have a degree in Food Technology/ Nutrition or a related qualification, and at least 1 years’ recent & relevant experience in a comparable role within a food manufacturing environment. You will have strong attention to detail, be creative, highly motivated, and have excellent communication skills coupled with the ability to confidently complete the various tasks within the role.
