Stock person

Hillkirk Farms LTD, beef and dairy unit, are recruiting for a competent stock person to support the running of our daily operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Feeding ‘day-old’ and young calves with particular attention to detail.
• Proactively identifying and responding to the needs of sick calves, ensuring their timely treatment.
• Willingness and ability to learn how to operate Lely robotic milking machines.
• Working under own initiative to identify and complete various tasks around the farm.
• Basic knowledge on keeping records and paperwork up to date. E.g. Medicine Records, Red Tractor Assurance Audit preparation.
• Working alongside farm manager when required.
• Maintaining a tidy and clean workspace at all times

Essential criteria

• Full UK Driver’s license.
