Portstewart Golf Club, founded in 1894 and home to three fine true links golf courses. Portstewart Golf Club are currently seeking a Senior Greenkeeper.
The successful candidate shall be a ‘go to’ Greenkeeper in the eyes of his/her work colleagues and:
- Hold or be in the final stages of possessing a level 3 qualification in Sports Turf Management
- Have thorough experience in the setting up and use of a broad range of course maintenance machinery
- Show the ability to lead others to the highest quality greenkeeping outcome
- Work as part of a team and be capable of independent thought in greenkeeping terms
- Have experience in construction of the various areas of the golf course
- Possess an over-all understanding of a links environment
- Be able to ‘set up the course’ for play
