Sales Representative to manage sales and service across Ireland

Connolly Meats are a meat factory based in Ulster that specialise in bacon products. We are looking for an enthusiastic, well-mannered, and motivated individual with experience or interest in sales which will be focused in dealing directly with multiple retailers to join our team and help us manage & expand our customer portfolio across Ireland and Europe.                                                                                                                                                                           Responsibilities:

• Approach and open new customer accounts within hotel and restaurant groups, supermarkets, and the catering industry.
• Generate leads and identify potential customers through various channels such as cold calling, networking, and referrals.
• Ability to maintain and develop relationship with clients ensuring first class customer service levels.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, market conditions, NPD and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities
• Must be willing to travel to different counties  as requested to widen customer base
• Must be able to plan out diary effectively to ensure you maximise your time with customers and achieving your agreed sales targets
• Attend daily checks in with Management to outline daily/weekly sales goals including setting up meetings, sales strategies, and product developments
• Must possess a current driving licence

Qualifications:

• Experience in the food industry /preferred candidate would have sales experience of meat products
• Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
• Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
• Excellent communication skills and IT skills
• Organized, highly driven and self-motivated
