United Feeds is part of the Dale Farm Group and one of Northern Ireland’s largest feed companies with manufacturing facilities in Belfast and Dungannon.  The company has continued to grow its market share within the ruminant animal feeds sector through its technical expertise and quality product range.

As part of the company’s ambitious growth plans, United Feeds now wish to recruit for the following key position within our technical sales team:

Reporting to the Sales Manager the Ruminant Nutrition Adviser will be responsible for growing sales in line with agreed targets through the development of excellent customer relationships.

This role will complement our existing team of Technical Sales Advisers and will involve maintaining and growing direct farm sales of feed, fertiliser etc. and advice on developing farm nutritional programmes to improve performance and efficiency of dairy, beef and sheep systems.

We are looking for dynamic and highly motivated individuals who have drive and commercial acumen, are willing to take on a new challenge in a competitive marketplace and be ambitious to pursue career in sales and animal nutrition.

The ideal candidate should have a 3rd level qualification or equivalent in an agricultural related discipline and must have an in depth understanding of ruminant livestock production. Previous relevant sales experience is desirable but not essential.

This is an important post and we are looking for candidates who have excellent interpersonal skills, are keen for responsibility, and can work effectively as part of a winning team.  Candidates must be IT literate and have a current driving licence.
