Key ingredients is a dry food ingredient supplier to the meat/food processing industry. Our factory is based in Limerick adjacent to the M7 motorway.
We manufacture blended seasonings for sausages, burgers, black & white puddings, chicken coatings for the fast-food industry, plant based blends, etc. We are agents for RSF Rusk and crumbs, KMC starches and Sonac products, suppliers for haemoglobin powders and animal proteins.
These are exciting roles that involve legislation, innovation, food safety & compliance, dealing with customers to help develop new flavoured , seasoning mixes, cure mixes etc.
R&D
- Daily assistance to R&D team
- Supporting New Product Development & Innovation
- Titration analysis (Salt & SO2)
- Conducting trial product taste panels
- New recipe set-up ensuring adherence to all relevant labelling legislation and project requirements
- Maintain documents related to the new product development process
- Management of sample manufacture for customers
- Conducting lab scale application trials to assess ingredient performance
- Liaising with staff within internal teams
