Our Ballyrashane Site has 125 years of experience in manufacturing high quality dairy products including butter, milk and cheese. We are proud to supply major retailers both with our own Ballyrashane product and with own label products as well as exporting our famous butter throughout the world. As our team continues to expand, we are now seeking a Quality Assistant to work as part of a team leading our site’s compliance with quality, food safety and customer standards.
The Role
The successful candidate will be part of our quality team ensuring that all products adhere to the highest of customer and regulatory standards. This role will include managing activities which guarantee food safety, integrity, legality and quality. As part of our technical team, the successful candidate will also contribute to the continuous improvement of our quality systems and processes.
The Person
The ideal candidate will hold a relevant degree/third level qualification in Food Technology (or similar) and ideally have similar experience in a food manufacturing environment. Applicants should have excellent accuracy in work and attention to detail. Strong communication, organisational and analytical skills are essential. Previous experience of carrying out internal audits and participating in external audits are also desirable.
