The Yolk Folk are looking for a production field manager to run the day to day operations of Yolk Folk production farms, with the interests of 300k laying hens. Based in Fermanagh, with travel to other contract farms in NI.
Experience is preferred but not essential as training is provided. You must be motivated, have the welfare of the hens as a priority, and be able to work together within a team.
Duties will include Bird Welfare, Egg Collecting, Egg Quality Assessments / Audits, Bird Weighing, daily record keeping, Maintaining safe working practices & high levels of site and personal bio-security standards. Dealing with production farmers, feed mills, vets and nutritionists.
You must be able to work on your own and as part of a team. Have an understanding that working with livestock is not a fixed hour’s position.

- Have excellent timekeeping and attendance
- Have their own transport.
Job Types
Full-time, Permanent Salary: £25000 – £30000 negotiable depending on experience.
