Central Chemical Supplies Ltd (CCS) is looking for a proactive internal account manager to join our team. Your main roles will be to help ensure CCS delivers a good service to clients and assist in the commercial progression of the company.
About CCS
CCS distributes and manufacturers a wide range of chemical products for various industries in the UK and Ireland. This includes Agri-food, building, detergent/hygiene, metal treatment, textiles and water treatment.
Job Details
- The job will be office based at CCS (Donaghcloney).
- You may have the opportunity to progress to a Business Development/Field Sales role as your career develops at CCS.
- Job Type: Full time permanent.
- Salary: Based on experience.
Key Responsibilities
Business Admin
- Provide support to managers.
- Sales and purchase order processing.
- Stock control and production planning.
- Logistical planning.
- General ad hoc jobs as required.
Account Management
- Respond to customer enquiries and prepare quotations.
- Identify and target inactive and new customers.
- Communicate supply chain issues or price changes with customers.
- Build and develop relationships with clients.
- Help maximise sales with appropriate profit margins.
- Complete costing reviews and update price lists.
- Identify new product opportunities.
- Record sales activities and conduct monthly reports.
- Assist with tender applications.
- Help launch new products.
Skills required
- Previous experience working in a business environment.
- Good IT skills.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and negotiation skills.
- Strong commercial acumen and numeric agility.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ability to plan and organise projects.
- Knowledge and/or experience of chemical industry (preferred).
