Animal Feed Scheduler – Graduate Trainee

Capper Trading Ltd represent one of Northern Ireland’s leading bulk animal feed logistic providers. We co-ordinat e volumes in excess of 500,000 tonnes per annum arranging deliveries throughout the UK and Ireland.

We seek to recruit an additional Feed Programmer who will be based at our Head Office at Tamnamore, Dungannon. The successful candidate will be responsible for liaising with key customers and creating feed programmes.

• Full on-the-job training will be provided.
• Salary Range £18-£24k:
• Competitive remuneration commensurate with experience.

Duties will include:

• Programme and schedule poultry feed orders for delivery throughout Northern Ireland.
• Liaise closely with customers and transport planners ensuring the highest standards of customer service are upheld at all times
• Focus on efficiency to maximise fleet utilisation whilst adhering to customer requirements in a prompt, timely manner.
• Work to KPI management reporting on areas such as on-farm feed stocks, load-fill and fleet efficiency.

Role Requirements:

Required:

• Strong analytic and numerical skills, and computer literacy.
• Articulate communication, inter-personal and customer service skills.
• Minimum Level 3 qualification in griculture.

Desirable:

• Agricultural and/or transport experience in a working capacity.
• Excellent geographical awareness of rural Northern Ireland.
