Gardener

A private resident with a garden of 6 acres outside Drumbeg is seeking to employ a full time gardener to maintain their property.  Reporting to the property owners, the successful candidate will implement existing landscaping plans as well as preparing future plans for expansion.

Job Specification

The job will require maintenance of existing garden features which will include grass and hedge cutting along with other general horticultural duties.  You will be encouraged to propagate and maintain a wide range of plants, trees, shrubs and maintenance of greenhouse workshop operations. 

• You must hold a minimum of level 2 qualification in horticulture along with PA1 and PA6 certificates. 
• You must also show 2 years proven experience in a similar role and be competent in the use of a range of plant, machinery and powered tools (relevant certificates are required).
• You must hold a valid drivers license for motor vehicle and trailer towing.
• In depth understanding of health and safety rules and legislation

Salary

£25,000-£30,000 per annum, depending on experience
