Early-Career Horticulturist Representative

A fantastic opportunity within The Chartered Institute of Horticulture (CIH) has arisen.

They seek to appoint an Early-Career Horticulturist Representative to their Council of Trustees to represent the key demographics of horticultural students and those beginning their careers in horticulture.

This is an excellent opportunity to be involved with a professional body that directly contributes to furthering the profession of horticulture and improving the opportunities for early-career horticulturists.

Eligibility

• Be a student of horticulture
• Or recently began your own career in horticulture (i.e. fewer than 3 years professional experience)
• You may be an apprentice, undergraduate, graduate, mature student, career-changer, trainee or in employment

Other details

• The Council of Trustees meets 4 times per year
• Like all CIH Trustees, this post is unremunerated, however you will be supported to travel to and attend meetings or events etc., through expenses.
