HOOFshop is a family run business based in Banbridge that launched in 2017. We supply cattle hoof trimming products and other agricultural items to customers based in Ireland, UK and recently worldwide as far away as New Zealand and Malaysia. We operate a fast, friendly and reliable service and are seeking a new team member to cover maternity leave – with the possibility of this position being extended.

Responsibilities
  • Take orders and pack packages accordingly.
  • Maintain warehouse – This person would be responsible for the warehouse remaining clean and tidy as well as maintaining stock levels by ordering stock and putting stock away.
  • Work with other colleagues – including the accounts department – to provide fast, reliable and friendly service to suppliers and customers.
  • Manage and delegate jobs to other team members.
  • Independently keep up to date with emails, invoices and stock levels and other administrative tasks that arise.
  • Speak to customers, suppliers and couriers and be able to solve problems or answer queries in friendly and professional manner.
  • Collect some deliveries.
  • Other jobs that arise around the yard.
  • Attend agricultural shows and trade stands as the need arises.
Requirements
  • Able to lift packages up to 25kg.
  • Full driving licence with available vehicle.
  • Logical problem-solver, adaptable and able to prioritise tasks.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Able to work with other team members.
  • Available to work full time hours on weekdays.
Desirable
  • Experience with agriculture and livestock.
  • Experience using SAGE software.
  • Have trailer licence.

This role is based at our HQ in Banbridge.

Salary – from £20,000 per year depending on experience.
