Animal Feed Operations Assistant

• Full Time (Permanent) 40 hours per week. Additional hours will be required during busy periods, including a Saturday morning rota.
• Working within a small family run company.
• You will be required to carry out all roles within the animal feed manufacturing process.
• Full Job training provided.
• £25,000 per year, plus bonus

Main duties include:

• Operation of computerised automated mill system
• Dealing with customers, invoicing
• Mixing, recording, sampling
• Shovel and forklift driving
• Plant maintenance, etc.
• Ability to work as a team or alone

Required skills:

• Good interpersonal communication
• Customer service driven
• Strong enthusiastic work ethic
• Strong numeracy and computer literacy skills

Desired skills:

• Experience in operating a loading shovel, forklift
• A farming background, knowledge of animal nutrition
