Seasonal Gardener

Tullyveery House is a private family home where we host weddings and events. There are 12 acres of maintained grounds, including several manicured gardens. We take great pride in the quality of our outdoor spaces. 

Job Specification

The role will involve working as part of a team to maintain the grounds and garden areas at Tullyveery House. Activities will include, but are not limited to, upkeep of the herbaceous borders and other garden planting, strimming, hedge cutting and lawn care. Days and working hours are flexible.

Seasonal gardener – experience working with and knowledge of shrubs and herbaceous border maintenance.

One day per week (flexible). Pay would be negotiated based on experience.

Criteria for application

• Experience interacting with members of the public.
• Willing to generate new ideas to develop the gardens further.
• Experience driving grounds utility vehicles.             
• Team-player with an awareness of relevant Health & Safety practices.
• Knowledge of herbaceous borders and the maintenance of shrubs & hedges.
• A can-do attitude and a keen attention to detail.
