Greensleeves is one of the UK’s oldest established lawn treatment providers, treating British lawns since 1998. Through their network of over 100 franchises around the United Kingdom, Greensleeves offers a reasonably priced, specialist lawn care service treating customers’ lawns with a bespoke feed and weed compound to achieve a deep-green, weed-free lawn. They are currently seeking a Lawns Manager.
Job function
To carry out planned service programme on customer’s lawns. Spreading fertiliser, spraying herbicides, scarifying, hollow tining etc. Distributing invoices, sales literature, upselling to existing customers, collecting payment as necessary and canvasing for new customers.
Paperwork and Administration
Fully complete necessary documentation accurately, particularly customer payments and application records.
Health & Safety
Ensure that all necessary Health & Safety requirements are fulfilled, in respect of customers, colleagues and yourself. Particularly in respect to COSHH, movement of goods and chemical handling, storage and spraying (using NPTC guidelines).
Working in Compliance with Legislation
Fully trained in the use and handling of chemicals (PA1 and PA6 training and qualification provided if necessary).
Sundry Tasks
Generating interest & leads with customers, including leaflet distribution.
Ensuring all equipment including vehicle are regularly cleaned and maintained in good working order.
To be flexible in working arrangements, assisting in other aspects of the company as necessary.
Flexible Working Arrangement
On average 7.5 hours per day, between the hours of 8.30 am and 6.00 pm.
If we cannot work due to the weather, you will be required to re-schedule any work for that day to ensure that all work is completed within the required timescale. Other duties will be needed to be completed as necessary.
