Do you work in the Sports turf or Landscaping sector? Join us on Wednesday 13th March 2024 for our industry focused Turf and Landscape Matters 2024 event. Working in conjunction with Golf Ireland, BIGGA and the Association of Professional Landscapers (APL) join us at this one day event which will showcase:

  • innovative equipment
  • sustainable techniques
  • creative ideas

This industry event is set to showcase many of the latest trends across the Sports Turf and Landscape industries, with a range of nationwide exhibitors, coming to discuss their products with attendees. Attendees are invited to browse these exhibitions, and attend a series of industry specific mini-talks on a range of subjects: 

09:45 – Phil Tremayne, APL, opening presentation

10:30 – Gary Smith, Agronomist, STRI, sports turf good practise

11:15 – Stuart Williams, An Introduction to London Stone

12:00 – Jenny Bledge, BIGGA, ‘First Green initiative aimed at introducing schoolchildren to greenkeeping practises’

12:45 – Kevin Stevens, Golf Ireland

1:15 – Paul Campbell, Technical Pitch Preparation and Performance Standards

2:00 – John McLoughlin, Wallasey Golf Club ‘How good management practises get the best out of your team’

The talks will conclude at 2.45pm.

We’ve secured a great line-up of speakers who will impart their knowledge and share experiences of the changing sector, while our industry exhibitors will be on hand to demonstrate new technologies and answer any of your product enquiries.

The event will open at 9.00am, with the exhibitors using the area in and around the Greenmount Campus Resource Centre. The programme talks will commence at 9.45am in the Lecture Theatre. Attendees will have time to visit exhibition areas throughout the day, with the exhibition closing at 4.00pm.
