Are you a teacher delivering or student completing the GCE Nutrition and Food Science qualification? Finding the Food Safety and Quality unit a challenge? Let Loughry Food Technology Lecturers help you!

We are hosting workshops to explain the principles of HACCP, identify HACCP principles and steps and apply the concept through practical food processing examples. Demonstrations will be applied using the food processing facilities within the Food Technology Centre, involving meat, bakery and dairy products.

The day will start with registration at 9.45am, with the programme commencing at 10.00am. Students will break for lunch (bring your own, or purchase in the restaurant) and the programme will finish at 2.00pm.
