Food Microbiology Specification Support

Book now to attend specification support seminars which will allow your science and food students to develop their understanding of food microbiology. We will bring learning to life through demonstrations and practical activities to:
- Work aseptically in a microbiology laboratory
- Develop an understanding of microbiology specific laboratory equipment
- Enumerate a food sample
Workshops are being offered on four dates in the new year:
- Wednesday 17 January 2024, 10am – 2pm
- Wednesday 7 February 2024, 10am – 2pm
- Wednesday 21 February, 10am – 2pm (to coincide with Northern Ireland Science Festival Week)
- Wednesday 17 April, 10am – 2pm
Workshop registration opens 9.45am, with the programme starting at 10.00am, finishing at 2.00pm. Pupils bring their own lunch or they can purchase refreshments on campus.
