The College of Agriculture, Food and Rural Enterprise (CAFRE) invites past and current Loughry Food students and staff to an Alumni event on Tuesday 20th June at 6:00pm.

Our first on campus event in January 2023 was a huge success and we look forward to welcoming all our Alumni back again for a summer BBQ and a sustainability themed evening with technical updates from fellow Alumni.

Whether you are interested in reminiscing past adventures, catching up with friends and lectures, or delving into the world of work, the CAFRE Food Alumni will have something to offer you.

  • Russell Ramage, Food Technology Branch, Loughry, New industry part time course, Sustainable Innovation

Attendees will also have the chance to view Loughry’s facilities, including a nostalgic tour of Shannon Hall!

A BBQ will be provided on arrival at 6:00pm. The evening will commence at 6:45pm and will last approximately 1 hour. There will also be an opportunity to tour the Food Technology and Innovation Centres to view our development, processing, packaging and automation facilities.
