CAFRE Food Alumni – Innovation Networking

The College of Agriculture, Food and Rural Enterprise (CAFRE) invites past and current Loughry Food students and staff to an Alumni event on Monday 5^th February at 6.30pm.

Our 2023 alumni campus events were huge successes, and we look forward to welcoming all our Alumni back again for a buffet supper and an ‘Innovation’ themed evening with updates from fellow Alumni.

Whether you are interested in reminiscing past adventures, catching up with friends and lectures, or delving into the world of Innovation, the CAFRE Food Alumni will have something to offer you.

The February event will feature:

• Alison (Class of 1994) & Malcolm (Class of 1993) Seaney, Big Pot Co.
  The Big Pot Idea
• Chris Forsythe (Class of 2005), Holland & Barrett
  Linking Loughry Alumni through Innovation and Health
• Peter Simpson, Food Technology Branch, Loughry
  Innovation continues at Loughry

Attendees will also have the chance to view Loughry’s facilities, including nostalgic tours of the Food Technology Centre and Shannon Hall.

As we are kick starting the event with a free social supper buffet, pre-booking is essential.
