CAFRE’s international connections provide development opportunities for students to experience husbandry techniques, business practices and management systems in other regions of the world.

CAFRE has a long-standing two-way exchange programme for staff and students with Michigan State University providing valuable collaborations across all disciplines of food, agriculture, horticulture, equine and agri-food businesses.

In recent years the College has developed international collaborations with academic institutions and businesses in Hong Kong (Food), Kentucky (Equine), The Netherlands (Agriculture, Horticulture and Equine) and New Zealand (Agriculture).
