Alan Hazelton

“My studies at Loughry went by so quickly. I think that’s probably because I really enjoyed my time there. I joined the National Diploma in Food Technology because I didn’t want to stay on in school for A-Levels. I liked the look of the “ND” with its promises of practicals, ‘assessments not exams’ and exciting job prospects. I’m pleased to report that this all turned out to be true. I did so well, Loughry accepted me to come back and study on the BSc (Hons) in Food Management and Marketing. To be honest I seemed to thrive in the familiar, supportive surroundings and went straight to employment after graduation. Looking back to the National Diploma – it really did arm me with the essential knowledge that I’m using in my job role today.”
