Life on campus – home from home
Greenmount Campus has accommodation for 200 students in a range of room types including dormitory style accommodation in Fulton and Boyd Halls of Residence, self catering student lodges and a number of three bedroom cottages. The majority of properties have Wifi broadband and single study bedrooms with a small number of twin rooms in Fulton Hall.
The Student Lodges and the cottages are self catering. They are offered on a seven night per week contract and are designed to give Higher Education Students more freedom and independence. Fulton and Boyd Halls of Residence are offered on a five night per week contract and require residence to take a catering package from our onsite caterer. Fulton and Boyd Halls of Residence are predominantly for students who are under 18 year of age.
The Student Village
The student village comprises four buildings: Pine Lodge, Birch Lodge, Maple Lodge and Oak Lodge. Each lodge has 12 single ensuite bedrooms with a shared kitchen and a private lounge with television facilities.
The Boyd Hall has 62 single study bedrooms, all of which are un-suite with Wifi broadband. Tea and coffee making facilities are available on each floor for shared use. The Manor Restaurant is located on the ground floor of Boyd Hall with the bedrooms on the first and second floor.
The Fulton Hall
The Fulton Hall has 73 bedrooms, six of which are twin rooms. All rooms have private vanity units. Bathroom and showering facilities are shared. Fulton Hall is an all male residence. Tea and coffee making facilities are available on each floor for shared use.
A number of self-catering three bedroom bungalows is available. These properties are the original estate workers cottages that have been modernised for student living. They are located at various locations on the grounds of the campus and offer students the convenience and security of living on site with the independence of living in a private bungalow sharing with two others.
The Manor Restaurant, with seating for 250 people, is located in the Boyd Hall and is a focal point within the Halls of Residence. Our professional caterers offer a large selection of menus for all occasions and to suit a range of budgets. Complete an online enquiry form to receive information on menus, special diets or alternatives to suit your requirements.
Relax with a coffee on a soft seat, have a chat in the communal area complete with pool tables, bar football and TV, or for a quieter moment take it easy and enjoy the panoramic views from the Cyber Café conservatory.

Students living in onsite accommodation at Greenmount will have the support of the Accommodation Manager and Residential Support Team staff to offer advice and help in settling into life at Greenmount. The modern dining rooms and snack bars are open for food and beverages throughout the day. A cater card can be purchased for use within either restaurant to help students budget their finances through the year.
All residential students have access to laundry facilities, a modern gym and indoor Multisport Hall. Evening activities came be arranged through the Student Council or any of the Residential Support Staff. Even trips to events such as live stock marts, shopping trips to Belfast and outings to the local leisure centre are regularly arranged. The Residential Support Team will run a ‘Worth Knowing’ programme of events to help you develop your skills in independent living. There is a Greenmount Student Council Facebook page that will keep you informed of activities and events for students.
