Greenmount Campus accommodation
Greenmount Campus has accommodation for around 200 students in a range of room types including dormitory style accommodation in Fulton and Boyd Halls of Residence, self-catering Student Lodges and a number of three bedroom Bungalows. The majority of rooms are single study bedrooms with a small number of twin rooms in Fulton Hall. Fulton and Boyd Halls of Residence are offered on a five nights per week contract and require residents to take a catering package from our onsite caterer. Fulton and Boyd Halls of Residence are predominantly for students who are under 18 years of age. The Student Lodges and the Bungalows are self-catering which are offered on a seven nights per week contract and are designed to give Higher Education Students more freedom and independence. The Student Lodges and the Bungalows are only available to students who are 18 years of ages or over, from 1st September.

The Student Village
The Student Village comprises four lodges: Pine Lodge, Birch Lodge, Maple Lodge and Oak Lodge. Pine Lodge, Birch Lodge and Oak Lodge have 12 single en-suite bedrooms and Maple Lodge has 11 en-suite bedrooms. In each Lodge there is a shared open-plan kitchen and lounge. Bedrooms comprise of bed, wardrobe, shelving, desk and chair. The open-plan lounge is furnished with sofas, beanbags, TV, table, chairs, cooker, oven, fridge/freezer, microwave and kettle.
Boyd Hall
The Boyd Hall has 62 single study bedrooms, all of which are en-suite. Bedrooms comprise of bed, wardrobe, shelving, desk and chair. Each floor has a small galley kitchen equipped with a fridge, kettle, toaster, and microwave. The Manor Restaurant is located on the ground floor of Boyd Hall with the bedrooms on the first and second floor.
The Fulton Hall
Fulton Hall has 61 bedrooms, 5 of which are twin rooms. Bedrooms comprise of bed, wardrobe, shelving, desk, chair and all rooms have private vanity units including a sink and mirror. Toilets/showers are situated on each floor and are shared. Fulton Hall is an all-male residence. Each floor has a small galley kitchen equipped with a fridge, kettle, toaster, and microwave.
Bungalow accommodation
A number of self-catering three bedroom bungalows are also available. These properties are the original estate workers cottages that have been modernised for student living. They are located at various locations on the grounds of the campus and offer students the convenience and security of living on site with the independence of living in a private bungalow sharing with two others. Each bungalow comprises of a kitchen, lounge, shared bathroom and three bedrooms.
Dining facilities
The contract catering team at Greenmount offers a wide range of food options available to students, staff and visitors in the Manor Restaurant and Cyber Cafe. Offering breakfast, lunch and evening meals along with snacks throughout the day. The Catering Team can accommodate a variety of diets and food allergies so if you have a specific need please speak to a member of the team and they will be pleased to assist.
Manor Restaurant
The Manor Restaurant is located in the Boyd Hall and is a focal point within the Halls of Residence. Offering breakfast, lunch and evening meals along with snacks throughout the day. Serving light breakfasts at the start of the day and by 10am offering freshly cooked breakfasts, scones and croissants etc. The lunch service offers soup, main course choices (including a vegetarian option), salad bar, meal deal, jacket potatoes and pasta and desserts. Our evening meals are also served in the main dining room and offer a choice main courses, vegetarian option, salad bar and dessert.
Cyber Café
Relax with a coffee on a soft seat, have a chat in the communal area complete with pool tables, bar football and TV, or for a quieter moment take it easy and enjoy the panoramic views from the Cyber Café conservatory. The Cyber Café is open in the evenings for light refreshments, hot food and snacks
Student Common Room
The Student Common Room is located in Boyd Hall and facilities include pool table, darts board and flat screen TV with seating area. Students are welcome to use the indoor gym and sports hall or the new outdoor gym located at the front of the Greenmount Resource Centre.
Residential Team
Students living in onsite accommodation will have the support of the Residential Support Team who offer advice and help in settling into campus life. Evening activities can be arranged through the Student Council or the Residential Support Team. Evening trips are organised throughout the academic year and may include visits to livestock marts, shopping trips, cinema, bowling, go-karting and outings to the local leisure centre. The Residential Support Team will run evening workshops to help you develop your skills in independent living and improve your health and well being.
