BSc (Hons) Degree in Horticulture
The Honours Degree in Horticulture is validated by Ulster University. The course provides the ideal opportunity for those who have completed the Foundation Degree in Horticulture at CAFRE to progress on to an Honours Degree qualification. Foundation Degree graduates will complete bridging modules, commencing in May and then complete the course over one year of full-time or two years of part-time study. Places are limited on the course, so early online application is advised.

Course Entry Requirements
Applicants must have previously attained the award of a Foundation Degree in Horticulture since 2015, or provide evidence of their ability to undertake the programme through the accreditation of prior experiential learning (APEL), having studied and achieved accreditation in Level 5 modules of sufficient credit value in related disciplines. Offers will be issued on a date of application basis subject to meeting the entry requirements.
Prior to commencing the Honours Degree course Foundation Degree graduates must successfully complete 40 credits of Level 5 Bridging Studies modules as detailed above, completed May-August.
In addition to meeting the course entry requirements applicants must also meet the General Entrance Requirements for Ulster University
