Equine Health and Veterinary Series

Overview

A series of dynamic presentations on equine health and veterinary care will be delivered over 6 evenings this autumn. Each evening will focus on a specific area of equine health and will be delivered by an expert in that field. The evenings will provide the latest knowledge and understanding of issues faced by horse owners and professionals and provide strategies for prevention and management.

Additional Information

Each evening is a recognised CPD event for:

  • British Horse Society registered instructors (three talks = 6 hours CPD)
  • Horse Sport Ireland registered coaches (two talks = 1 point)
  • Veterinary Council of Ireland vets and veterinary nurses (one talk = 2.5 CVE credits)

The evenings are suitable for all those involved in the equine industry wanting it increase their knowledge on key aspects of equine health.

All presentations will take place at The Ballinderry Inn, Moira Road, Lisburn, BT28 2HQ, with doors opening at 7.00pm for a 7.30pm start.

Cost

There is no fee for the evenings but participants must enrol online before each event, as spaces are limited. Online enrolment will close 48 hours before the date of each event.
