Become a Visual Designer at Tobermore. This is a fantastic brand new role within our Marketing Department.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing patio and driveway designs primarily for the Consumer market using Tobermore products. The designs will incorporate hard landscaping, such as paving slabs, block paving, steps, paths and walls, as well as soft landscaping, such as shrubs and flower beds, that together create a space that delights and inspires.

About The Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce visualisations using the depiction software to support the Consumer, Paving Contractor and Merchant markets.
  • Producing patio and driveway designs and ideas generation to upsell Tobermore products.
  • Sourcing and researching garden design tools such as 3D design, AR & VR for consideration in Tobermore’s design offering and keep up-to-date with new technologies.
  • Compiling and preparation of Landscape Design packages for both the consumer and commercial markets.
  • Creating plans, designs and drawings using computer-aided design programs such as Auto CAD, Sketch-up and 3D visuals.
  • Presenting proposals to clients for approval within a agreeing time-scales.
  • Dealing directly with clients to facilitate plan changes and updates as well as managing deadlines.
  • Keep CRM updated with design activity and paving advices.
  • Co-ordinate design requirements with external Landscape Designers.
  • Keep external Landscape Designers informed and up-to-date with Tobermore information and product changes.
  • Organise annual Landscape Designer meeting.
  • Assist with other marketing initiatives as required.

Desired Criteria

  • Experience of using Tobermore products in Landscape Design Projects
  • Full and clean driving license

Required Criteria

  • Recognised qualification in Garden/Landscape Design or Landscape architecture
  • 2+ years’ experience in Landscape/Garden Design
  • Competent with CAD, Sketch-Up and knowledge of 3D visualisation software
  • Confident in client management
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Ethos of hard work and conscientiousness
  • Creative
  • Good verbal and written communication
  • Quick learner who is easily able to adapt to changing demands
  • Able to deal with multiple projects simultaneously
  • Structured and organised
