This is a great opportunity to work in one of Northern Irelands top Simmental herds as well as one of the most productive pig units in the province.
Permanent stock person required for WH Robson & Sons, Kilbride Farm, Doagh. The farm has 100 pedigree Simmental cows producing bulls & heifers for breeding as well as 330 sows held in a modern birth to bacon unit.
Main duties include being involved in all aspects of pig production including feeding, AI, farrowing and all aspects of pedigree cattle production including feeding, halter training, washing and grass land management.
All training will be provided on site with an emphasis on farm safety, herd health and bio security.
The ideal candidate should have previous experience in livestock care, tractor skills, be motivated and able to take direction within a team of 4.
Wages (£10-£14 per hour) dependent on previous experience and ability but this will be assessed on an ongoing basis. 1 in 3 morning weekend work will also be undertaken.
There is a possibility that accommodation can be provided if required.
