Assistant farm manager 

Hours:
Full time and occasional weekend work, additional hours may be required during busy periods.

Enterprise:                
Beef farm – 600 beef cattle

Main Duties:     

• Feeding (diet feeder and JCB shovel), some cattle to be fed on grass. Feeding mostly in the morning,
• Checking welfare of stock throughout the day
• Tractor work and maintenance (slurry, rolling, spraying etc).
• Animal husbandry (worming and clipping etc).
• General maintenance and upkeep of the farm (fencing and power washing). 

Additional information:

Experience preferred but not essential (training can be provided if the right candidate is successful). 

Full driving licence essential

Wages:
£10 per hour based on experience but negotiable dependant on the candidate.
