Agriculture work placements

CAFRE, in partnership with Ohio State University offer agriculture students the opportunity to complete a period of work placement in America. The programme allows CAFRE students to identify areas of their specialist interest to develop their practical experiences on large scale farms.

Past students have benefited from developing their knowledge and practical abilities on dairy, beef and arable farms. Normally students complete one year working in America and have the opportunity to experience the american life and culture attending baseball games, american football matches and visiting tourist attractions.

Ohio Programme Director, John Beardmore visits CAFRE to discuss potential placements, visa requirements, accommodation and any special requirements applicants may have.
