Online - Webex

Wednesday 3rd March 2021, 7.00pm

CAFRE is hosting an online webinar  entitled ‘The Digital Horticulture Consumer’ on Wednesday 3rd March 2021 at 7.00pm.

Ongoing trends see online garden sales increase by 220% in 2020 and it’s evident that a digital presence is crucial for horticulture business to continue to meet their customer’s needs.

There’s no doubt digital marketing has come to fore since the pandemic. Many horticulture businesses have had to adapt to the ‘’new normal’’ and reach customers by this means as lockdowns prohibited face to face sales

Increasingly consumers are using online as means to search, research, and purchase their gardening requirements and as such a credible digital footprint and an efficient online offering is crucial for businesses to ensure they can continue to sell.

Natalie Porter, Marketing and Sales Manager, at Happy Plants will be presenting her view on the changing consumer within horticulture and the use of social media in driving sales.

During the meeting there will be the opportunity to ask questions. However, if you have any specific questions you would like to raise, you are welcome to send these in advance by emailing Conor Gallinagh at conor.gallinagh@daera-ni.gov.uk These will be answered by the panel during the meeting.
