CAFRE are hosting a Protect Your Flock Webinar focusing on Avian Flu and the steps you can take to protect your flock, with guest speakers from St. Davids Poultry, Parklands Veterinary group and DAERA Veterinary Service.

Robert Huey, DAERA Chief Veterinary Officer (CVO) – will provide an introduction and outline the current situation regarding Avian Influenza

Caroline Hall, Parklands Vets Poultry Veterinarian – will speak about what avian influenza is and its clinical signs.

Dana Simpson, St David’s Poultry Team Veterinarian – will speak about biosecurity tips and how to help reduce the chance of disease introduction and spread to the flock.

Laura Wilson, DAERA Veterinary Officer – will provide information on the importance of bird registration and signing up to the DAERA text service.
