Opportunities in Horticulture Careers Fair

Planning has commenced for the annual ‘Opportunities in Horticulture’ Careers Fair which will be held on Wednesday 19th February 2025 at Greenmount Campus, Antrim. 

Students studying on Level 2, Level 3, Foundation Degree and BSc (Hons) Degrees in Horticulture will be in attendance.  The event will provide businesses with the opportunity to meet CAFRE students who are seeking to recruit for work placements and or graduate openings.

If you are a Careers Teacher/Adviser or Teacher 

Last year our event attracted more than 25 businesses, with additional jobs displayed around the hall.  If you are a Careers Teacher, Careers Advisor or teach GCSE/A Level Sciences or host a Horticulture Club in your school, you will find this event particularly interesting.  We welcome your attendance to our talks followed by the Career Fair in the afternoon. The programme will commence at 10am, with a light lunch provided and conclude at 2pm.  If you would like to attend please follow this link.

Cannot attend but want to promote a job vacancy / work placement opportunity? 

 If you have work placement/job opportunities available but cannot attend, please email us details, along with any relevant organisational/company literature. We shall display your information on the day, within the forum. We also have a dedicated Horticulture Careers Hub to share job opportunities and work placements directly with CAFRE students. Opportunities can be posted on Careers Hub at any time throughout the year. We can also share job vacancies on the Alumni section of this website.
