Cheesecake Reformulation Workshop

As part of the ‘Formulating for a Healthier Future’ series, the College of Agriculture, Food and Rural Enterprise (CAFRE), Loughry Campus and the Food Standards Agency in Northern Ireland (FSA in NI) are hosting an event to provide food businesses with guidance on how to reduce the calorie, saturated fat, sugar and salt content of cheesecake.

The workshop is being held on Wednesday 23rd March 2022 at the Loughry Campus from 9:10am to 11:30am. Representatives from CAFRE, the FSA in NI and Invest NI will be in attendance to discuss why reformulation is good for your business, how to get started and where you can find help and support. On the day cheesecake samples will be available to taste, as well as a technical guidance document demonstrating how to reformulate cheesecake and recipe suggestions. Places are limited and registrations will close at noon on Tuesday 22nd March 2022.
