The team can identify key drivers for change, develop new product concepts in line with market opportunities and will report on new & emerging technologies.

Innovation Vouchers.

For projects up to £5,000, CAFRE has already delivered almost 400 technical support projects funded by Invest NI Innovation Vouchers.

Co-Innovate.

CAFRE can link with the Co-Innovate Programme that aims to support SMEs and micro-businesses in Northern Ireland, the Border Region of Ireland, and Western Scotland.

Our technologists offer an innovation pathway of support providing entrepreneurs and established businesses with a framework to embrace innovation and commercialisation of new ideas in a way that leads to safe, quality and sustainable new products.

CAFRE is committed to helping businesses innovate sustainably and are leading in the training of environmental focused NPD- developing product concepts, processing methods and controls, as well as technical problem solving.

Sustainable Innovation at CAFRE is not only about new product development, it is also about continually evaluating new and existing manufacturing processes and evolving product technologies.
