Start Up and Brew

Participants will develop their knowledge of the key stages of craft beer production and have a regard for the associated science used. It will also provide an overview of quality and legislative issues.This programme will consider recipe formulation and will provide the craft brewer with the skills to calculate accurate recipes, which impact on ingredients, time and energy costs. The detailed practical side to this programme involves brewing different beer styles and viewing further processing techniques.

The four key ingredients – water, yeast, malt and hops.

  • Practical Brewing.
