Youngstock/Dairy herdsperson

Full time position including weekend work (on a rota).

• The farm consists of 360 dairy cows plus followers, arable, beef cattle and a small number of sheep. 
• Cows are housed all year round and milked through a 40 point rapid exit parlour.  
• Calving from September to June. Calves reared on automatic feeding stations and young stock grazed in summer. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for day to day management of calves and young stock. Also husbandry and veterinary care for the herd. Plus record keeping of all treatments given and input of performance figures on  farm software. Milking duties also will be required on a rota basis.

Full driving licence essential.
£9.50/hour negotiable with experience.
