Technical Assistant

Evron Foods is a highly successful company with dual site manufacturing in the UK and Ireland. We are at the leading edge of delivering innovation and product solutions to the Retail and Food Service markets and currently wish to grow our Technical team within the Portadown site with the appointment of Technical Assistant to help support the Technical team.
The Role:
- To co-ordinate and manage traceability testing;
- To manage quality non-conformances
- To conduct Supplier and Ingredients Risk Assessments;
- To assist in 3rd Party audits and site visits;
- To effectively complete site audits and manage follow up actions. These involve monthly:
– Fabrication Audits
– Hygiene Audits
– GMP Audits
– Competency assessments - Any other duties as requested by management.
Essential Criteria
- 1 year plus experience in a technical/quality role ideally within the manufacturing industry
- Willingness to learn.
- Strong computer literacy to include Microsoft Office.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
