Student Veterinary Nurse
Glenburn Veterinary Surgeons are looking to employ a student veterinary nurse to join an amazing, supportive team based in their Glengormley branch.
This post is subject to the applicant securing a place on the Level 3 Veterinary Nursing Diploma based in CAFRE, for a September 2023 start. The successful applicant will attend college one day a week (first year) and will develop their skills/knowledge alongside the clinical coach and nursing team the rest of the week.
40 hours per week, 8.30am-5.30pm Monday Friday (Glengormley). One weekend in seven based at our Crumlin branch, consisting of Saturday 9-6pm and Sunday 9-1pm. Time off in lieu is given for weekend cover.
National minimum wage applies.
This post would suit someone keen to work within the veterinary profession who likes working with animals and their owners. We would require a hard-working individual; a team-player; someone who will show initiative and motivation to work, learn and develop their skills.
Experience is preferred but is not essential. A driving licence would be preferred due to college attendance and weekend shifts but is not essential.
