Family-run & Independent – Redpost Equestrian has been family-run since 1992. Offering horse riding clothes and apparel including Riding Boots, Jackets & Coats, Competition Jackets, Horse Rugs and many more products online & in-store from our shop in Totnes, Devon.

We have an exciting opportunity. We are looking for an experienced retail manager to help us in the next phase of expansion of the business. This position would be responsible for a team of roughly 10-15 people in our busy equestrian retail store. The role will involve daily management as well as forward planning. You will be responsible for meeting KPI’s and ensuring a high level of customer service is maintained. At busy times you will be expected to fill any of the roles you are directly responsible for. It is a busy environment and the person filling this role must be able to adapt, multi-task and cope well under pressure, with a personable character at all times.

Job Roles:

  • Managing a team of people and ensuring high standards are achieved by all

  • Filling in and being responsible for the attendance of the shop team

This job would suit:

Someone that enjoys getting stuck in and involved. Due to the constant moving forward of the business this job would suit someone that likes to get their teeth into something and see their work make a difference. The role will be a mixture of desk based and on your feet so would suit someone that is both physically fit and analytical.

Working Conditions

You will be working with a team to complete daily duties, small and large tasks in a new purpose built retail environment.

Hours of work

The role would involve between 38-42 hours per week. Days and times will be confirmed during the interview stage.

Pay

A competitive salary is on offer with the opportunity for further personal growth.

Candidates need to live within a daily commute to the store in Totnes, Devon.
