Blue Grass, a horse feeds company has a vacancy for a Sales and Marketing Representative at its Dungannon factory.

AN Irwin Feeds has been an established name in the milling industry for over 170 years, providing high quality and scientifically formulated products from their mill in Eglish, County Tyrone.

We are currently looking for a Sales and Marketing Representative to join our team and play a key role in the expansion of our Bluegrass Horse Feed Brand into new markets.

The benefits:

Salary is negotiable for the right candidate but starts at £10 per hour.

This is a full-time permanent role with immediate start available.

The role:

As a Sales and Marketing Representative, you’ll be tasked with supporting our existing sales team and promoting Bluegrass Horse Feed products into existing and new markets in Ireland and Great Britain.

You will maintain daily contact with our sales team and our existing customers, whilst working alongside our Digital Marketing and Sales Executive to run marketing campaigns to reach out to new customers.

Using a consumer-led marketing approach, you’ll be involved in telesales activity, forging new relationships, creating leads and following-up on your sales activities.

You’ll be involved in promotional events and trade shows, building our brand profile through social media and digital marketing, and managing sponsorship agreements with brand ambassadors, events and venue management teams.

Additionally, your role will involve:

– Maintaining social media presence for our Brand and products

– Market research

– Keeping up to date with the latest trends in Equine Nutrition through collaborative links with Kentucky Equine Research

– Identifying trends, requirements, and insights within the equine industry

Some travel will be necessary within the role to attend events and service customer’s needs, expenses covered.

About you:

To be considered as a Sales and Marketing Representative, you will need:

– Experience in a Sales or marketing role,

– At a minimum a diploma level qualification linked to Equine Studies

Consideration will be given to candidates without a qualification, providing they can demonstrate their experience and knowledge of the equine industry
