The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Technical Team in the continual improvement of the Quality Assurance System through monitoring all processing operations, ensuring they run efficiently and that all products are produced and packaged to an exceptional quality standard.
Essential Criteria:
- HND (or equivalent) in relevant Food Science/Technology
- Level 2 Food Safety for Manufacturing
- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational and planning skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal.
- Computer literate
Desirable Criteria:
- HACCP certificate
- Experience with BRC or similar quality standard/accreditation
- Previous Technical/ quality assurance experience within Food or FMCG industry
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 7.30am to 4.30pm, 30 days holidays including stats, salary £21-£22k depending on experience.
