QA Auditor

Fred C Robinson is based in Ballyclare, Co Antrim Northern Ireland. We are a family owned pork processor which was established in 1905 and are one of the oldest pig meat processors in Ireland.

Fred C Robinson operate from a 3700m purpose built facility, processing only Pig meat on site, which is sourced locally from approved suppliers. In recent years the company has invested heavily in state of the art equipment in order to maintain the high standards of quality which our customers demand.

Fred C Robinson is currently recruiting a QA Auditor.

Role Overview

• Reporting to the Technical Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of the Quality Management System, ensuring the business is compliant with relevant customer and legislative requirements.
• You will play an essential role within the technical function. You will be tasked to audit, monitor and evaluate implementation of Quality Systems and Procedures.
• You will provide technical support for functional teams and ensure the maintenance and promotion of food safety, quality and integrity standards across the factory site.  
• With you knowledge of BRC, HACCP and GMP your contribution will ensure the factory is complaint and audit ready at all times.

The Person

• Educated to degree level or equivalent in a food or science-related discipline, or professional experience gained within a food manufacturing environment
• At least 2 years experience in a similar role
• HACCP experience
• Previous BRC exposure
• Previous Previous red meat experience is desirable
