Propagation Expert

Howard Nurseries are recruiting an Assistant Team Leader for the Propagation Department, which might lead to the Team leaders’ position in due course. Howard Nurseries propagate most of their herbaceous plants in every way possible may that be splitting, root-, tip- and heel cuttings, from seed or stage four tissue culture.

This is the first stage of the production process and the plugs will go on to the field department for planting or container department for our 9cm or 2L production.

Howard Nurseries are looking for:

• Self-motivated – including Decision-making skills
• Organizational and time-management skills

Full-time position 39 hours a week, weekend work (max 2 hours a day) essential at certain times of the year, willing to go the extra bit.
