Principle Scientific Officer

• Temporary position for initially 4 months with possible extension thereafter
• Part time hours
• £25.89 per hour

Job Duties

• Collating, analysing and writing up data from a completed experiments that examined factors influencing silage quality, with the objective of improving silage quality into a scientific paper for press release
• Much of the work can be completed remotely however on occasion visits to our client’s site may be required

Essential Criteria

• A degree in a biological science or agriculture related subject
• PhD or MSc in a biological science related subject
• Excellent computer skills
• Extensive experience in managing data sets with Excel, and excellent Excel skills
• Good writing communication skills as demonstrated in being named 1st author on a minimum of 2 peer reviewed scientific journal papers related to ruminant production
