Gardener – Private Residence

We moved into our 150yr old private home in December 2020. We are slowly renovating it and has a large front garden that is a blank canvas with a large driveway and other areas in need of maintenance. We are looking for someone to keep the driveway and all areas tidy without the use of chemical weed killers as well as help me to create a planted and landscaped front garden to suit the house.

Job Specification

• 28 hours per month / 7 hrs per week @ £15 per hour.
• 1 part time role, paid long term.
• Opportunity for successful applicant to engage other students in need of unpaid work experience at times when certain projects are underway.

Criteria for application

• Creative garden designer, excellent time management, honest, reliable for a long term role, good plant / season knowledge, own transport, motivated.
• Good plant knowledge, adaptable, landscaping knowledge.
• This is a role at a private home and we are looking for someone inventive and creative to work with home owners in creating a beautiful garden to suit our period home. Possible opportunity for increase in days per month in the future.
