The Ballynatray Estate comprises c.850 acres of which 50% is farmland (arable and grass), the balance being mature woodland where a first-class pheasant shoot is run. There are also extensive pleasure grounds and gardens.
The main house and gardens are used for weddings and corporate events.
The Estate Manager is expected to take control of all these activities. While the agricultural land is currently let on a conacre basis, the owner would not be averse to bringing it back to in-hand farming – arable or beef-fattening or sheep.
The owner is prepared to offer a starting salary of €40,000 together with an excellent rent-free house.
